What's the Bedlam trophy?

Bedlam Bell: the prize started as a clapper from the bell in Old Central on the OSU campus, which OU fans took and passed around until the schools made it a trophy in 1966; it was later replaced by a crystal bell, and since 2014 the trophy has had a granite base.

How did the Bedlam start?

Oklahoma beat Oklahoma A&M, now Oklahoma State, 75-0 at Island Park in Guthrie in 1904, a game in which a punt blew backward in the wind, rolled into a half-frozen creek and was recovered by an Oklahoma player for a touchdown. The Bedlam name started with the schools' wrestling rivalry and the noise at Oklahoma State's Gallagher-Iba Arena. Oklahoma has won most of the meetings, but in 1945 sixth-ranked Oklahoma A&M won 47-0 in Norman. The annual football game ended after the 2023 season, when Oklahoma left for the SEC, and scheduling means it can't come back before 2031.
