Georgia is No. 1 in the 2026 Week 7 AP poll with 1,745 points, ahead of Notre Dame (1,630) and Miami (1,594). Texas was No. 1 the week before.
The biggest jump belongs to UCLA, up 9 to No. 12.
LSU fell the furthest, down 12 to No. 22.
Kentucky, Wake Forest and Northwestern are new to the poll, and Oregon, Florida and Pittsburgh dropped out.
The SEC has 9 ranked teams, the Big Ten 6, the Big 12 5, the ACC 3 and 1 independent.
The Coaches Poll has the same top three. It differs most on USC: No. 19 in the AP, No. 15 in the Coaches Poll.
